Create Your Own Tag Collections
You get to decide how your library should look. All tags belong to a collection (group of tags), which gives them context, e.g. Flowers/Red, Cars/Red. When a tag is selected, images matching that tag will be instantly shown in the image browser. Select multiple tags and choose whether to show images matching only all of the tags, or any of the tags.
Utilise the Power of Multiple Libraries
Need even more control over the organisation and structure? Simply create a library for each collection that you need, splitting your images at the root level. You can even split libraries between Silos, which are containers used to store multiple libraries. Because the Silo is a self-contained storage container, its easy to move, duplicate and backup.
Original Files are Stored
When you import an image, that exact file is copied. No thumbnails. No compression. When the time comes to export images, the very same file will be exported, unchanged. You can even opt to manage the library yourself in an external location, and Stockpile will store file references instead.
Organise Images in a Way Which Suits You
Because you arent restricted to a specific way of doing things, you are free to create a potentially infinite number of ways in which to organise your photos. You have access to multiple libraries, tags, collections, ratings, name and image dimensions. Think about what you could do with that.
A View to Remember
Have a complex search involving multiple tags, a size and type filter, followed by a filename search? Well, dont worry about having to repeat that each time you need it. Create a Quick View once, use it again, and again. All with just one click. A Quick View is a way to remember and store a combination of currently selected tags, filename search and advanced image search criteria. All of which is stored in the Silo, so easily transferred between Macs.
Built to Withstand 150,000 Images
Stockpile has been designed to support big libraries, with special optimisations placed at strategic locations to ensure that you have the fastest possible experience, all while ensuring rock-solid stability. You can leverage the power of multiple libraries to potentially store millions of images, all while preserving an acceptable level of performance.
Search Using Advanced Filters
Use the advanced filter to quickly and easily scan your entire library and find images matching specific criteria, such as rating, image dimensions and file type. You can combine advanced filters with the other selection methods, and save the resulting filter in a Quick View, saving you time and hassle later on.
